Our patients comfort at The New Victoria Hospital
All of our rooms have en suite bath and/or shower and lavatory facilities, electrically operated beds, satellite LCD flat screen TV, radio, direct dial telephones and bedside switches for operating lights and the nurse call system.
We do not believe in intercom systems so that when our patients press the nurse call button by their beds, a nurse arrives very promptly. Neither do we believe in having separate call buttons for pantry staff as it is part of our philosophy that nurses deal with all of our patients' needs, including the ordering of beverages which are available at all times to both patients, and visitors at no charge.
Although the hospital is renowned for the level of its high-tech equipment, it also offers a degree of hospitality and warmth usually associated with an exclusive hotel. It is the combination of these apparently incompatible features which makes The New Victoria the envy of many of its competitors and so worthy of patients’ praise.
